Job Opportunity: Onsite Maintenance Technician – AV Support
Location: New Jersey and New York City Area

We’re seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to deliver top-notch AV support and customer service at premier locations in the New Jersey and NYC area. Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup & Support:
- Set up and break down conference spaces tailored to client needs.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain AV systems during meetings and events.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including testing and repairing cables and hardware components.
- Clean and maintain AV equipment like camera lenses, monitors, and fans.
- Handle job site documentation and resolve issues with a focus on quality and timeliness.

Training & Collaboration:
- Provide end-user training on AV systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams in a professional, client-focused manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to solder and crimp connectors.
- Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control systems.
- Basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license.
- AV industry certifications (preferred but not required):
- AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals
- Crestron Professional Installation
- Extron AV Associate Certification
- InfoComm CTS General Certification
Education & Experience:
- 1–3 years of AV integration or support experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal education in electronics or a related field is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work in professional office settings and client sites.
- Lift and move equipment up to 60 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and work in small or uneven spaces.
- Be flexible to work after hours or on weekends as needed.
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with flexibility for additional hours based on project needs.
