The Role:
As an Install Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned installations for our cellular-based replacement solution. Working closely with the Project Management team, you will ensure installations are properly planned, executed on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise in hardware/infrastructure, and a focus on delivering measurable results while driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation Coordination and Management:
- Develop detailed installation scopes and communicate requirements to installation partners and technicians.
- Manage scheduling of work orders, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
- Oversee daily installations, ensuring efficiency and effective cost control.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving issues and managing escalations.
- Document installation details and results, ensuring accuracy in internal and customer-facing systems.

Customer Communication:
- Provide customers with regular updates on scope, schedule, and installation results, obtaining necessary approvals.
- Present comprehensive installation summaries to customers, including justification for any additional charges.

Vendor Management:
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs, including scheduling, work quality, and invoicing accuracy.
- Resolve vendor-related escalations promptly and maintain positive working relationships.

Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
- Analyze installation performance metrics (success rates, cost variances, failure trends).
- Identify improvement opportunities by customer, type, and installation partner.
- Lead initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and cost management.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in installation management, construction management, or field-based project management.
- Technical expertise with low voltage cabling (copper, coax) and various connection types.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency in field service management tools (e.g., ServiceMax).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience managing third-party vendors in telecom or low-voltage industries.
- Familiarity with analog telephone systems, infrastructure, and replacement processes.
- Knowledge of line replacements and cellular-based solutions is a plus.
