We've developed an exciting opportunity for pioneering engineers looking to work with cutting-edge technology in the world of NFT trading. Our rapidly growing platform, already serving 40,000+ monthly-active users and processing millions of NFT transactions per week, is seeking its first founding engineers to join the team.
At the ground floor of our scaling efforts, you'll be instrumental in shaping the platform to accommodate the next one million traders. Our goal is to build the most sophisticated trading infrastructure and platform for NFTs globally.
As part of the team, you'll be responsible for creating and launching new products catering to NFT traders. This includes delivering faster data, enhancing capital efficiency, and implementing advanced order types. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing and scaling our data pipelines to handle transaction loads of O(1-10K) transactions per second during peak times.
We believe in giving ownership and autonomy to our engineers, which means you'll be owning projects from end-to-end. This includes working on everything from front-end development to backend APIs, data pipelines, and on-chain smart contracts. Our tech stack includes React, NodeJS, Postgres, Redis, and Docker. If you're well-versed in these technologies, that's great, but if you have experience with other modern stacks and are a fast learner, we'd love to hear from you too.
To succeed in this role, you should be genuinely excited about web3, crypto, and NFTs. Passion for the space is a crucial characteristic of our team members, and we welcome fellow enthusiasts to join us. As a generalist with at least 3 years of experience in large-scale, data-intensive applications, you'll find an environment where your skills will be put to the test.
Proficiency in at least one low-level language is essential, with Rust or Go being ideal choices. Moreover, any experience you have in scaling data-rich consumer products, APIs, and trading infrastructure to millions of users with massive data volumes (O(terabytes)) will be a significant advantage. Experience with AWS tools like Kinesis, Dynamo, SQS, RDS, and Kubernetes services is also valuable.
