Enterprise Data Architect
 
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join a growing wealth management firm. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in the architecture and management of enterprise-level data systems. They will understand the nuances of sourcing data from multiple systems to provide insightful metrics and reports at an enterprise level.
Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the overall architecture of the enterprise data landscape, ensuring high availability, robustness, and scalability.

  • Evaluate data from multiple source systems like Salesforce, Revenue, and Accounting platforms to understand its implications in the wealth management domain.

  • Establish data governance, data quality, and data management best practices.

  • Develop comprehensive enterprise-level metrics and reports.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for data acquisition, transformation, and modeling.

  • Architect and implement data warehousing solutions that facilitate business reporting and analytics.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including data dictionaries, ERD diagrams, and flowcharts for data movement and transformations.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and relational databases.

  • Experience in Wealth Management is a huge plus.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Revenue systems, and Accounting systems.

  • Experience with Data Warehousing, Big Data technologies, and ETL processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have

  • Certifications in data architecture or database management.

  • Experience in using Business Intelligence tools.

  • Knowledge in regulatory compliance related to data, especially within the financial sector.

 This is a hybrid position. This role is to be filled outside the state of Colorado.
