Senior Analyst, Back Office Technology (Business Analyst)
This is a hands-on position in our Back Office Technology Team focused on our in-house
proprietary applications and third-party vendor systems across several key Accounting
functions. The role includes business analysis, software configuration, project management,
quality assurance, functional design, application support, vendor management and any other
duties related to the usage of these applications. The ideal candidate has demonstrated recent
experience as a Business Analyst, interacting with users, working with a development team,
writing business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and writing and
executing test plans.
The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following:
− Become a subject matter expert in the core business functions and technology solutions
− Develop detailed requirements documentation including user stories, use cases, design
specifications, business process and data flows and acceptance criteria
− Independently execute complex data analysis across multiple platforms through the use of
Excel and other available tools
− Utilize reporting tools to design and deliver ad-hoc queries and reports to stakeholders
− Manage support issues raised by the business through to resolution and within defined
− Build strong and productive relationships with key business user, technology colleagues,
and technology vendors to convey pain points, requirements and process improvements in
a clear and concise manner
− Confidently facilitate meetings with business users and technology colleagues
− Ensure that all delivered solutions meet the highest quality standards and satisfy all
specified business requirements through rigorous validation and testing
Qualifications & Experience:
− Bachelor’ s Degree is required.
− Strong analytical skills to digest, document and translate business requirements for inhouse development or customizing / configuring third-party software products
− Experience in integration between different systems is a strong plus
− Programming experience, database experience or data analysis using SQL a plus
− Strong mathematical skills are a plus
− Experience in planning and executing test plans
− Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
