Job Description


 

As the AV Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to provide support for all audiovisual systems and collaboration platforms. Additionally, you will offer live-event assistance in a hybrid environment, drawing on your extensive knowledge of managing audio sources, video distribution, video recording, Crestron control systems, and collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Webex within large auditorium settings.

The team plays a crucial role in designing and creating meeting and event spaces. You will have the autonomy to optimize conference rooms and the overall AV experience across our various offices. A passion for AV technology and a proactive attitude toward addressing business challenges through research, testing, and implementation of these technologies are key traits we're seeking.

Occasional physical labor, including lifting, may be required in this role.

About You:
  • Experience: You have accumulated 7-10+ years of relevant experience in positions with increasing responsibility and independence.
  • Task Management: Your ability to prioritize tasks and forecast upcoming project needs sets you apart.
  • Autonomous Worker: You are skilled at working independently with minimal guidance, displaying self-motivation and an initiative-driven approach.
  • Design Expertise: You possess in-depth expertise in designing and supporting AV-intensive spaces such as conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums/lecture halls, and multipurpose areas.
  • Event Production: You are proficient in the technical production and support of company events, including hands-on event delivery.
  • Collaboration Tools: You have experience supporting live events through collaboration tools like Zoom, Webex, and other cloud conferencing solutions.
  • Control Systems: You are certified in control system platforms like BiAmp, Q-Sys, Extron, Crestron, Dante, and have experience with Cisco video conferencing solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, suppliers, and integrators effectively.
  • Networking Knowledge: You understand networking fundamentals, including aspects like VLANs, basic routing, video transmission over networks, and audio/video signal flow.
  • Mentoring: You are open to onboarding, training, and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance on operational execution.
  • Travel: You are willing and able to travel to other offices when necessary.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.

Compensation:
  • Base Salary: up to $200,000 + bonus
