We are looking for an accomplished Engineering Manager to join our team! In this hands-on position, you will lead a talented engineering team, reviewing designs, analyzing technical trade-offs, and implementing a software development process that delivers cutting-edge products. Your leadership style will cultivate a positive and motivating work atmosphere to encourage the team's optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to convert designs into technical documentation and requirements.
- Assess, document, and educate team members on design and implementation trade-offs.
- Collaborate with product leadership to establish clear project roadmaps, goals, expectations, and timelines.
- Work alongside senior leadership to address high-level technical challenges, prioritize work, and contribute to organizational design and strategy.
- Ensure the engineering team consistently delivers high-quality projects efficiently.
- Provide guidance for career growth and offer performance feedback.
- Focus on refining team processes, including sprint management, task tracking, and delivery accountability.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of software engineering management experience, including successful shipment of production-grade products.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Rust, or Typescript, ideally within the context of web3 technology.
- Advanced understanding of architectural designs and infrastructure related to blockchain technology.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and uphold delivery standards.
- Proven capability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Deep familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem and blockchain's supply chain.
- Experience across the web3 stack, including client platforms such as Geth or Reth, and smart contract programming.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
