**Job Description: Azure Active Directory Engineer (Hybrid Contract Role)**
**Location:** Morristown, NJ
**Position Overview:**
As an Azure Active Directory (AAD) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure AD solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure AD services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for identity and access management technologies and a commitment to delivering secure and scalable solutions.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Active Directory solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of clients.
2. Implement and manage identity and access management policies, including user provisioning, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC).
3. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into scalable and secure Azure AD architectures.
4. Integrate Azure AD with other Microsoft and third-party applications, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization processes.
5. Optimize Azure AD environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, considering best practices and industry standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve identity and access management issues in Azure AD environments, providing timely and effective solutions.
7. Develop and maintain documentation related to Azure AD architecture, configurations, and processes, ensuring clarity and consistency.
8. Stay up-to-date with Azure AD best practices, new features, and industry trends, incorporating them into our services as appropriate.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on Azure AD-related matters, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
2. Proven experience working as an Azure Active Directory Engineer or similar role, with a focus on identity and access management.
3. In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory services, including but not limited to Azure AD Connect, Azure AD B2B/B2C, Conditional Access, and Azure AD Identity Protection.
4. Hands-on experience with identity and access management policies and best practices in Azure AD.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and integrations with Azure AD, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
6. Experience with Azure AD integration with on-premises Active Directory environments is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
8. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse teams and clients.
9. Microsoft certifications related to Azure Active Directory (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) are a plus.
**Location and Working Arrangement:**
This is a hybrid contract role based in Morristown, NJ, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.
