The Core UI team is part of the larger Core Development team. Groups throughout the organization - such as traders, risk managers, and Clearing - depend on the applications to be incredibly fast, information-rich, and reliable. The team collaborates closely with our users to understand their needs and develop many kinds of applications, including real-time applications for trading and visualization, applications for monitoring trading systems or viewing risk metrics, applications for managing configuration, etc.

They are seeking an experienced developer to help improve and support their suite of products, which is a mix of web applications (JavaScript / React / Redux on the front-end, and Python or C++ on the back-end) and desktop applications (C++ / Qt and C# / WPF).

The ideal candidate would be very strong in at least one area (web front-end development with JavaScript, or desktop app development in C++ or C#). Ideally, you are familiar with two or three of the languages we use, or at least willing to learn.

What you' ll do:
  • Work directly with users to understand their needs and design user-friendly solution
  • Contribute toward extending and supporting our suite of applications


Skills you' ll need:
  • Passion for development, strong work ethic, and drive to continually learn and improve
  • Desire to make awesome front-ends which users enjoy using on a daily basis
  • 7+ years of development experience
  • Experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, C++, C#, Python
  • Ability to write reliable and readable code, and provide code review feedback to others
  • Experience working with databases
  • Experience with unit testing

Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Python back-end frameworks like Tornado or Django
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience in the trading industry
