AVP Back Office Technology (Technologist/Team Lead) 

This is a hands-on position focused on leading a small Back Office Technology team to extend our strategic business application (Allvue Everest) for multiple business units. The successful candidate will have strong business analysis, project management, functional design, and vendor management skills to define, develop and deliver impactful technology solutions within this application, and should have recent demonstrated experience in a similar role. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, an inquisitive nature, a passion for excellent service, the ability to self-start and be resourceful, and a strong passion and understanding of technology. Since this is a client-facing role, which requires communication with users at all levels, verbal and written communication skills are important.

Responsibilities Include:

− Become an expert in the business processes utilizing Allvue Everest across Portfolio Management, Treasury, Operations and Credit Monitoring. − Become expert in the technology platforms in order to design and deliver solutions within and/or related to the core business application.

− Understand pain points and identify opportunities to leverage technology to increase productivity, quality, and analytics for the back office functions.

− Participate and lead problem analysis with business users and identify software solutions, enhancements and system integration opportunities that will create efficiency, improve quality, or mitigate risk.

− Independent, hands on data analysis using SQL, Excel pivot tables and other data extraction, analysis, and reporting methods.

− Build strong, productive working relationships with our stakeholder, users and other teams within Technology Solutions.

− Develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Identify improvements to the testing processes to further drive quality deliverables for end users.

− Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting priorities to respond to changing internal/external demands in a very fast paced, growth environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

− Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field is required with 7-10 years of experience with software applications is required, preferably in Financial Services supporting back office functions.

− Strong analytical skills to digest, document and translate business requirements for inhouse development or customizing/configuring third-party software products is required.

− Project Manager skills including estimating, scheduling and change management

− Experience in integration between different systems is a strong plus.

− Delivery oriented with very high quality and customer service standards.

− Must be motivated by a fast paced, complex environment.

− Must have working knowledge and prior experience with all phases of the SDLC in a teamoriented, structured yet agile, model.
