Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Contribute to strategic technology decisions to support the firm’s business vision

Partner with department heads to define priorities and deliver customized solutions

Work collaboratively with other technology leaders to ensure planned initiatives are aligned with stated business objectives

Oversee analysis and execution of critical projects using robust project management methods to establish governance and help identify and mitigate unforeseen risks
Qualifications:
We seek an individual who is self-motivated, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required

Substantial experience managing application technology in financial services institutions, preferably at an alternative asset manager

Prior experience with fund accounting concepts and systems
-
10+ years of experience as a hands-on software developer
-
Strong proficiency with.NET C# and SQL Server

Knowledge of the following technologies is a strong plus: RESTful Web Services and JSON
-
Proven experience leading teams and projects to successful completion
-
Strong project management skills: ability to work under pressure and multitask.
