Our Client founded in 1998, seeks a talented Analyst to join the Information Security team in New York. The Analyst will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.

Responsibilities

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring all user access requests globally and providing weekly reports to the CISO
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating activities, specifically relating to Information Security and IT Audits
  • Assisting in developing the organization’ s security policies, standards, and guidelines, as well as, security awareness, security information portion of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Working with internal clients, IT staff, and vendors in order to provide timely and efficient IT coordination of security services
  • Creating status reports for key security projects
  • Tracking  cybersecurity KPI/KRI on a weekly basis and update the report in the chase cooper system dedicated to risk team at London. Create a report on KPI/KRI for the quarterly board meetings
  • Performing other information security related duties as assigned by supervisor

  At least five years of  experience in:
  • Conducting ISF (Information Security Forum) based standard risk assessments or similar risk assessment models. Working along with the CISO and update the results of the internal assessment on a monthly basis.
  • Handling Incident response process and procedure triage with both Infrastructure and development teams
  • The user access recertification  process. Ability to understand industry known identity management systems related to backend IT processes required to onboard and off-board users is a plus

  At least two years  of experience in:
  • One or two of the cybersecurity technical domains namely DLP, Log review and aggregation on SIEM to track Measurement Indicators (MI) – KRI and KPI, alerts from IDS/IPS

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security or information assurance
  • A bachelor’ s degree in information technology, computer science, information assurance or a related field
  • The ability to work effectively and communicate with personnel at multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Visio is a plus
  • Exceptional subject matter knowledge, skills and abilities in the identity management domain
  • Experience in updating organization wide BCP plans
  • Prior experience in coordinating cybersecurity trainings with HR and Legal teams is a plus

  • Organized, responsible, and meticulous
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to effectively manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
