The team is looking to add a proactive and self-motivated Business Development professional who can continue to drive the growth of Our Client’ s futures business across the globe.  The entrepreneurial nature of this role is a natural fit for a professional with expertise in derivative market structure, exchange connectivity/technology, trading operations, and algorithmic trading. 

What you’ ll do: 

 
  • Research new business opportunities that help strengthen our client’ s derivatives business.   
  • Identify & analyze market trends, determine impact/opportunity for our Client
  • Identify a strategic plan that continues to optimize existing derivatives business globally.
  • Provide support to Head of Global Business Development with respect to strategic and financial growth of our Clients derivatives business. 
  • Lead business initiatives requiring cross-departmental engagement from inception to implementation. 
  • Continually research emerging opportunities in the derivative space globally.   
  • Interface with trading teams (both locally and globally) to develop plans for growth. 
  • Cultivate relationships with exchanges, brokers, banks, industry experts and technology partners.
  • Plan to attend conferences, meetings, and other industry events to build business intelligence on behalf of the firm. 
  • Be willing to travel and work outside of regular business hours as required.

 

 

Skills and Experience You’ ll Need:   
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in derivatives markets.
  • Direct experience within an Exchange and/or quantitative trading firm.
  • Must possess intellectual curiosity and be a self-starter.
  • Understanding of trading/exchange technology and its business impact. 
  • Understanding of Compliance/Regulatory changes and its business impact. 
  • Exceptional abilities and experience presenting ideas, market changes, market trends, etc. to assist management in decision making and overall prioritization. 
  • A demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and to lead them independently to their conclusions.
